ARTing It Up:The Art Factor Opening Reception Featuring Saga Moor and Joe Delorenzo (November)

Put several creative people-artists,art-lovers, fashion mavens, gallery interns and volunteers, and a wonderful art consultant-in an amazing gallery setting and you officially have TKP Gallery's November 2009 edition of The Art Factor Opening Reception Featuring SAGA MOOR and JOE DELORENZO.

Delicious food from Mexican Restaurant Qdoba,-the chicken was terrific by the way-drinks varying from Three Olives Vodka to Red Bull, and art to die for were a few components to TKP Gallery's reception Friday Night-FANTASTIC!

Artist Saga Moor, a social butterfly at the reception and one of the very stylish men of the night, presented a few of his exceptional pieces from his original Brooklyn exhibit. But, his piece "Aquatic Moon" was one of the crowd's favorites. Photographer Jonathan Zellars said of the piece "Aquatic Moon", "I love the blending of colors...it's like going into another world".

Joe Delorenzo, a man with great talent and a great group of friends-all of his friends came to support him like an army- presented very modern and realistic pieces that were also well favored. Pieces varying from a self portrait to an astonishing portrayal of sneakers gave Joe that "IT" factor. One gallery visitor said Delorenzo's work is "gritty and glamorous at the same".

Not only did TKP Gallery exhibit Saga Moor and Joe Delorenzo, but a new "Salon" style was presented. TKP Gallery's new "Salon" style was created to showcase a variety of artists and their work. The idea of presenting the viewer with a variety of artistic expression, and providing opportunity to more than one or two artists, was the desire of the gallery. Mission completed? Absolutely! People loved it!

Work in this Salon included pieces made from paint and old records courtesy of young New Jersey artist, Tidus. Thought-provoking yet aesthetically beautiful pieces from Philadelphia artists, Roosevelt and Dash, also received elongated observations. But, all the work in the Salon were all pretty fantastic; something about every single piece made you appreciate art a little more.
